My first date was when I was 18 and I went on like 4 dates with the guy and *I* had no idea what to do. He never made the motion to huge or kiss me and I kinda liked him but felt like he didn't like me. By the 4th date I was ready to ask if we were dating or friends, I had no idea! lol But after the 4th date we were talking on ICQ and lo and behold the guy had the major hots for me and wanted to make it "official", use the "terms" lol But he went off to South America for a college course and when he came back I was in another "relationship". So, yeah, dating is scary... and frustrating...

Yay! Thanks for the update (finally)! I'm so glad to hear you got that first date out of the way, even if it maybe didn't go as you had hoped. But that's a VERY good sign that he wanted to go on a second date. If there was no interest at all, I really doubt he would waste his time on another date. So try to keep positive thoughts and have fun. Just for the record, my boyfriend is very cute too and he was a late bloomer. So it is possible.

I'm glad it went well! (except for the sweat). Just try to have fun! I don't know about kissing and dates cuz I've never really been on dates, but when it happens, it happens :) Try not to stress it :)

I didn't go on a first date until I was 21. I had kissed before then but that was my official first date. Scary it was! Anyway, it will come naturally, the kissing. I sweat a lot too. HB finds it hot, but I find it to be gross!

YAY!! I'm so happy it went well and you have a second date! I didn't start really dating until I was 19. It was my husband and he was my first everything. It will come to you. Your heart will pound with nervousness, but you will get used to it. And I am like you with the sweating thing, I'm always hot! Can't wait to hear about the second date!
